Try clinque' matte finish. It is light and doesn't leave you with that ';caked'; face feel. Sephora also sells Stila which besides MAC is my favorite.
A very nice, semi cheap powder that is smooth but also has natural minerals and extracts to smooth your skin is Boots Botanics Lighter Than Air Pressed Powder. It is found at select drugstores such as Target. If it gets damaged it can be replaced and if you run out you can easily get more. Even though it is on the cheap side, it works much better than most expensive brands and it makes your face extremely smooth.
Hmm, I'd go with Maybelline pressed powder, it a compact and really cheap :) it works great ! ( it's like $4) You know what compact means ;)

to even out skin tone? you need almay smart shade. it goes on like suntan lotion, and rubs in to match your skin tone. no more embarassing lines!
