Geisha look, where to find white face powder?

For Halloween, I wanna be a Geisha.

Where can I find a white face powder thing?

[Yes, planning WAY ahead]Geisha look, where to find white face powder?
To get a proper geisha look, you need a LOT more than just white face powder. You need the white on your face and neck (yes, neck -- the makeup should go onto your shoulders, chest, and back as well as your face) to be completely opaque. It also needs to be smooth and matte, like porcelain. If it's at all shiny or wet-looking it's not accurate. Probably the best way to get the proper look is with a combination of a liquid foundation and a powder. If you don't want to spend the money for a set of proper geisha makeup (and I can't blame you, you would spend at least $300 for a full authentic set), I've heard good things about Ben Nye stage makeup.

Remember that you're also going to need red for your lips and eyes, black eyeliner, and black mascara. You'll need something for your eyebrows too -- probably some black or dark brown pencils for a nice, delicate look to the brows.

If you're serious about being a geisha for Halloween, please put some effort into making sure your costume is as authentic as possible. You don't need to spend thousands to make a nice costume, you just need to put in a bit of effort. Geisha are real people and it's important to treat them and their art with respect. If you want tips, the Immortal Geisha forums are drowning in information on geisha, their work, their costumes, and their makeup. You should definitely take a look if you're at all interested in geisha.Geisha look, where to find white face powder?

Stargazer :) and I'm pretty sure they do a white foundation.

Also, there is Dainty Doll on ASOS. Howeer, I think they're a bit more pricey!
