How do you apply face powder?

i know its a silly question


but im always questioning whether i put it on right or not?How do you apply face powder?
Take a big fluffy brush, dab it in the powder and lightly tap off any excess then apply in big swirls all over the face.

well i take my big face powder brush, swirl it around in the powder itself 9 but lightly swirling), then i tap it on a hard surface to get any excess off ( so i dont look cakey) then swirl it onto my face!
with a powder brush its big and fluffy!
always start from the outside and work in. always apply a moisturiser at least 10 minutes before you apply any foundation or powder -this stops it looking patchy.
the key to applying face powder, naturally, is to make sure you apply it correctly. When applying powder, think of where you need the powder. These areas include the your cheeks, nose, chine, forehead, and even your neck if the color is noticable different. It helps to have a large round brush and to make sure each amount put on this brush is rubbed evenly throughout your face. There really is no science to it, except to just keep practicing and soon you will get it right.





For best results, make sure your face powder is almost identical to your skin tone.





P.S. - it also helps to have a friend near by to tell you that you put it on evenly...in order to avoid having an obvious look that you used face powder
you will need a dusting brush, apply a bit of teh powder on the brush, if you get excess powder on the brush, tap of never blow! this spreads germs on to the brush.





gently apply on your face by sweeping outwards from the centre of your face, look in mirror,and apply more if needed!
